SuperGeek Free JPG to PDF Converter is super-easy to use and produces some pretty super files, too. It can convert a wide range of images into widely compatible PDFs or PostScript files for high-quality rendering of drawings and images that contain text. SuperGeek is for Windows 2000 to 8.

SuperGeek's user interface opens with a smiling, bespectacled cartoon mascot who's equal parts Superman and Clark Kent. The layout is, for want of a more appropriate word, idiot-proof. The wizard-like process starts by choosing to convert files either to a PDF or PS (PostScript) file. SuperGeek explains each option (and its history -- a nice touch) but you can click "Help" to access a Tour, Manual, Guide, and Knowledge Base. We selected PostScript and clicked "Next," which advanced us to a screen with Output location, Paper size, and Compression options. Next we chose whether to create a new page from a file or our scanner. We started with a basic image conversion and browsed to a JPEG, which appeared in the preview window. Next came the Finish page. We'd like the ability to open the file or its containing folder, but it's hard to complain about the process. Our converted file looked good, with sharp features and well-rendered colors. We also converted images to PDFs. To convert multiple images, just add another image before advancing to the next step.

As we noted, we'd like to be able to open finished files directly from SuperGeek, and a file list display would help with batches. But for foolproof and accurate conversions, SuperGeek JPG to PDF Converter is the tool.
